Coworking Spaces are an essential part of integrating into a Remote Working Community like Nomads Den. They are not just rooms with internet, they are community hubs where you can connect and collaborate with other Community members.
A good Coworking space is worth its weight in gold and really shows its value when you arrive at a destination like Tenerife to work remotely. Not only do they surround you with other Digital Nomads and Remote Workers as soon as you arrive, they help you combat loneliness and anxiety when you are in a destination away from home.
Working together in an efficient way
Having run the Zen Den for a few years now, the major feedback we get is just how much more productive and efficient coworkers are when they choose to work from a dedicated workspace, this allows you to maximise your work/life balance on such a beautiful island. Making sure you make use of the beaches and other after work activities we have in Tenerife.
In a place like Tenerife where AirBNB and other accommodations can have internet connection stability problems, a good Coworking Space ensures a stable WIFI connection with quick internet so you are not let down when working remotely.
Lastly Coworking Spaces are dedicated spaces made for Remote Workers and Digital Nomads, supporting them, supports the community and its infrastructure naturally. Without Remote Workers coming to the Zen Den for instance, the Nomads Den Community and its Resources would not exist.
Cafes suitable for work in Tenerife
Cafes can be a difficult subject when it comes to working comfortably and ethically in them. Do the cafes allow for work, whats a suitable amount to buy in exchange for their space and internet and are they comfortable enough to sit for more than a couple of hours to work in.
This is why at Nomads Den we will always recommend and encourage a good Coworking Space over a cafe.
However we know that sometimes you just need to catch up on emails for an hour in the sunshine and have a coffee with noone bothering you, this is why we have these recommendations for you. Places we know you can work comfortably and will be welcomed with your laptop.
